RTGS.global Participant API (Realis Finance)
Overview
This specification covers the RTGS.global Participant API endpoints specific to the Realis Finance Funds Controller integration.
It includes:
- Party Management (v3) — create and retrieve creditor parties registered with the Realis Finance Funds Controller.
- Payaway via Funds Controller — initiate ISO 20022 pacs.008 payments through the Realis Finance Funds Controller, including supporting document uploads and request validation.
- Defund via Funds Controller — initiate ISO 20022 pacs.009 withdraw requests to move funds from your Realis Finance network account to an off-network account.
Requests not listed here are either handled entirely within the RTGS.global platform (Core flow) or are not supported by the Realis Finance integration.
Synchronous responses
The messages will be in the Body of the HTTP response with the appropriate HTTP status code.
Asynchronous responses
The messages will be delivered using the CloudEvent v1.0 schema. The payload is provided in the data_base64 property of the CloudEvent. This value must be base64-decoded before the payload can be used or verified.
Webhook delivery is handled via Svix. Each notification is signed by RTGS.global — verify the signature against the decoded payload before processing. See Verifying webhooks for details.
