POST /v3/fx/exchange

FIX 4.4 <D> compatible proprietary message. Places an order against a rate previously quoted by the TransferMate Funds Controller.

TransferMate-specific behaviour:

Each of the conditions below causes TransferMate to reject the exchange and report a failure to the platform rather than placing an order:

Body.QuoteId must be the QuoteId delivered on the Quote event V3 for the quote being exchanged. An unknown or already-consumed quote is rejected.
Body.BaseCurrencyAccountId and Body.QuoteCurrencyAccountId must be copied verbatim from the Header.TargetCompanies entry returned by the quote request. Where they differ from the accounts the quote was priced against, the exchange is rejected.
A quote can be exchanged once. A second exchange against the same quote is rejected.
An exchange submitted at or after the quote's expiry is rejected, unless TransferMate confirms the order was already placed — in which case the exchange continues against the order already held at TransferMate rather than placing a new one at a fresh rate.

Other TransferMate-specific behaviour:

Header.TargetCompId is the TransferMate Funds Controller code, trnfmte, not a counterparty participant's RTGS.global ID.
Body.OrdType must be PreviouslyQuoted.
Body.Price is taken from the Quote event V3: BidPx for a Buy, OfferPx for a Sell.
Body.Side determines the direction of each leg and which amount is required. A Buy credits the base currency account and debits the quote currency account; Body.OrderQty2 (the quote currency amount) must be set. A Sell is the reverse; Body.OrderQty (the base currency amount) must be set.
The exchange is only reported as complete once TransferMate confirms both that the payment completed and that the receiving account was credited, and the resulting transfer has settled. The Execution report V3 can therefore arrive well after this 202.
