Participant API

The RTGS.global Participant API is a REST API delivered over HTTPS. It is accessible from any environment — on-premises, cloud-hosted, or otherwise — without any special network infrastructure beyond standard outbound HTTPS access.

1. Register

A contact in your organisation will have provided your details to the RTGS.global onboarding team, including your legal entity name and the geographical region you will connect to.

2. Connect

You will be provided with an API base URL and credentials for your jurisdiction. No network infrastructure is required beyond standard outbound HTTPS access.

3. Integrate

Integration involves sending HTTP requests to the API and consuming asynchronous notifications delivered as webhooks to an endpoint you host. You will need to deploy the Signing Module to sign your API requests and verify incoming message signatures. See Receiving Notifications for webhook setup.

4. Technical Certification

All integration steps are first completed in the RTGS.global sandbox environment. Once RTGS.global confirms that all functional and non-functional requirements have been met via an approved test exit report, the integration is technically certified. This is a dependency for the onboarding team to plan your switch to the production network.
